The purchase of the CCDot product range by X-Rite Limited in March 2003 has given Ripware the opportunity to extend their product range to meet the overall quality control needs in the press as well as the pre-press area.

Ripware Limited are involved with providing various pre-press solutions in conjunction with different partners with which they co-operate. The choice of partner is dependant upon the solution required and the geographical location of the customer thereby ensuring the most appropriate local service support.

Paul Foster, the founder of Ripware Limited, has been working in the pre-press industry since 1966. Starting as an apprentice hot metal compositor he moved into computerised phototypesetting when he joined The Monotype Corporation in 1973, where he remained for 17 years. Since that time Paul has worked in various technical, sales, marketing and general management roles with companies such as Hyphen, HyWay Ferranti and Centurfax.
